Moving gate can cause death: Lots of ominous signs near the pedestrian US/Mexico border crossing. We walked across on foot this time (rather than driving across via car) due to car insurance issues on the Mexico side. The pedestrian crossing is swift going in (no security to get into Mexico) and anywhere from a 20 minute to 1 hour wait in line to come back (obligatory citizenship verification questions, drivers license showing to Homeland Security officials, and bag x-raying before setting foot in America).
