Ahem, no. The web is rampant with the latest search engine shakeup news that Google Chrome is dropping dead because its market share leaked a tenth of a percentage point this past week.
How, I ask, can a browser that has existed for less than a month even have a core user base to lose? We’re far from determining Chrome’s stable market share and even further from understanding how it will impact the web user’s toolkit (not to mention the digital landscape itself).
The finding that Chrome’s use increases markedly in the evening (because people are on personal rather than work-regulated computers) is interesting, though. (via LA Times)
