When I was younger, one of my favorite young adult novels was a fantastic 60’s vintage fantasy called From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. In it, two children run away from home to live a secret life in the Met, where they solve a fascinating mystery about a lost Michelangelo sculpture. I like to pretend I’m doing the same sometimes.
